Joint Mobilisation or Manipulation

Our staff are trained to work on joints to either mobilise them to help restore normal movement and reduce stiffness or to manipulate joints if required, manipulation is a fast movement where you may hear a click. This is another way to restore normal joint movement.
Physiotherapists are trained to work on virtually all the accessible joints in the body, we are uniquely placed in that we can then back up our joint mobilisation techniques with soft tissue techniques and exercise to help attain optimum function of an area.
Common areas we work on:
Neck
Upper and Lower back
Hips
Knees
Ankle and Foot
Shoulder
Elbow
Wrist and Hand
Tembromandibular Joint

All treatment will be discussed with you before it is commenced, and if you are not sure or are uncomfortable please discuss any concerns with the physiotherapist.
